Welcome to Lanigan’s Irish Pub & Eatery!
Authentic Irish Cuisine, Irish Drink, and lots of Irish spirit promises you a fun, friendly and exuberant atmosphere. This charming business in the first floor of a former Victorian-era dry goods store is a monument not only to Irish culture but to New Castle history as well.
The front of the pub is divided into three “snugs,” an Irish tradition of semi-private areas separated from the rest of the house by half-walls. Two of them feature tables and high-back wooden benches, while the third — a waiting area — offers a fireplace and a leather sofa, loveseat and oversized chair.
Along the west wall of the room is a pub rail and small tables separated by dividers of stained glass and wood. The glass, also used near the main entrance and in a wall dividing the bar area from a private dining room.
